Visual Thinking

Visual Thinking refers to the use of various forms of visualization such as sketches, symbols, and diagrams to explain content in a way that is understandable and visible to all participants. The focus is not on artistic value, but on conveying information as clearly as possible.

This methodology complements pure dialogue and can be used both in analog formats, e.g. on whiteboards and flipcharts, and in digital collaboration tools. Especially in workshops, co-creation formats, and other collaborative work processes, Visual Thinking helps structure complex connections, create a shared understanding, and capture insights for long-term use.

Nice to know:

A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes. When people can grasp something both through language and visuals, it helps them think clearly. Visual Thinking supports the development of ideas and concepts.
