The basis visual design is the ground from which the visual concepts are built. By means of parallel design or pure generation of variants and an iterative approach a basic creative direction is defined which considers, communicates and helps define the company brand and product messages. If a corporate design already exists it is applied on the basis visual design and to the existing interaction concept. The result is a selection of visually designed screens which define the key visual elements.
The basis visual design serves communication and agreement processes with stakeholders and the team. Beyond that it is the basis for first validations with identified user groups.
